Barranquilla, Colombia – November 5, 2025
World Trade Center Barranquilla has successfully regained control of its official domains — www.WorldTradeCenterBarranquilla.com and www.WTCBarranquilla.com — after a rigorous verification and reinstatement process with GoDaddy.
This recovery marks a major milestone following Google’s suspension of the organization’s account earlier this year, which temporarily disconnected its online presence.
“We’ve regained ownership of our domains, which is a significant victory,” said Hoffman Murcia, CEO of World Trade Center Barranquilla. “However, Google continues to redirect searches for ‘World Trade Center Barranquilla’ to a private building illegally using our trade name. Despite this confusion, we remain focused on restoring the brand’s true identity.”
With domain control reestablished, World Trade Center Barranquilla is preparing for a technological renaissance, powered by artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced design, with the goal of rebuilding its digital system from the ground up.
“Our plan is to go fully digital and integrate artificial intelligence into all our processes,” Murcia explained. “A new website — currently in draft phase — is being developed to reflect innovation, transparency, and the true vision of World Trade Center Barranquilla.”
In parallel with its digital recovery, World Trade Center Barranquilla has established a strategic alliance and board participation with the Global CEO Club in Pakistan, alongside World Trade Center Monaco, as exclusive members and representatives for Latin America and the Caribbean.
This collaboration promotes joint initiatives in business development, project financing, trade facilitation, procurement, and sales of major infrastructure and industrial projects — connecting Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East.
“Our alliance with Global CEO Club expands our reach and provides Latin American companies with direct access to global capital and investment opportunities,” Murcia stated. “Through this network, we will support project financing, investor connections, and the acquisition of strategic goods and services for large-scale projects.”

The Global CEO Club serves as our engagement and high-level business development partner, and Hoffman Murcia proudly serves on its Board of Directors, representing Latin America and the Caribbean.
The current private building in Barranquilla operating under the name “World Trade Center” is not affiliated, licensed, or connected in any way with World Trade Center Barranquilla or the WTCA (World Trade Centers Association).
The official and only recognized license holder for Barranquilla is World Trade Center Barranquilla, operated by LATAM Projects, Inc.
We kindly request that the Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla, the Barranquilla Chamber of Commerce, AMCHAM, and ProBarranquilla be formally notified that this building and its operators are not associated with the legitimate WTCA license or its global network.
Despite ongoing legal and technical challenges, World Trade Center Barranquilla continues to lead with perseverance and purpose, driving international cooperation, technology, and innovation to strengthen the Caribbean and Latin American economies.
“We may have lost visibility, but never our vision,” Murcia concluded. “Through AI, technology, and alliances like the Global CEO Club, we’re building a smarter, stronger, and more connected future for our region.”
